Lansing, Grand Rapids picked to finish first and second in MCCAA men's cross country pre-season poll

Lansing Community College men's cross country, who were off last year due to COVID, have been narrowly picked to win the MCCAA Men's Cross Country title. The Stars have the most MCCAA titles in the association's history.

Grand Rapids Community College finished second in the poll. The Raiders won the MCCAA title last season and finished 8th at the NJCAA Division II National Championship. St. Clair County Community College is picked to finish third, while Jackson College is pegged to finish fourth. 

Mott CC comes in at fifth in the pre-season poll, while the Monarchs of Macomb Community College is picked to finished sixth. Muskegon Community College is slated to finished seventh.

Oakland Community College is picked for eighth, Alpena Community College is tabbed for ninth and Division III Kellogg Community College is slated for 10th. 

Ancilla College at 11th, Kirtland Community College at number 12, Wayne County CCD at 13th and Glen Oaks Community College at 14th round ou the preseason poll.

The first MCCAA meet of the year is the Firebird Invitational hosted by Kirtland Community College on September 24 at Hanson Hills Recreation Area in Grayling, MI.
