Frazee wins individual championship, Jackson wins team at Kirtland CC Men's Cross Country Invitational

The Jackson College men's cross country team won the Kirtland CC Invitational on Friday. The Jets finished with 31 points, out distancing Alpena CC who finished second. Kellogg CC finished third, while Kirtland CC finished fourth. Wayne County CCD finished sixth. Jackson College placed five runners in the top ten. 

On the individual side, Kellogg's Brian Frazee won the six kilometer race in 22:19.5, while Andrew Frohm of Jackson finished second. Hunter Finnila of Kellogg finished third, while Jackson's Andy Swihart and Richard Haislip finished fifth and sixth respectfully. John Siegert of Alpena finished seventh, while Tyler Landis and Tony Dubay of Jackson finished eighth and ninth respectfully. Teddy Peters of Alpena rounded out the top ten. 

All MCCAA men's cross country teams will compete at the Jackson Jets Classic on Saturday, September 26, 2020.
