Jackson's Tyler rolls to MCCAA Western Conference Men's Bowler of the Week

Jackson College sophomore bowler Toby Tyler (Parma, MI/Western) opened the NJCAA Region XII men's bowling championship with 11 strikes in a row and a 296 first game en route to winning the Region XII doubles championship and a second place finish in the All-Events. That effort has earned him the MCCAA Western Conference Men's Bowler of the Week honors. Tyler and his partner Brandon Teddy won the doubles championship with a total pinfall of 1371. Tyler shot a 748 series including his 296 first game. He finished second in the All-Events with a total pinfall of 1773 to finish 42 pins out of first and help the Jets finish second in the Region XII Championships.

Last week, Kellogg Community College's Robert Burns, III was the MCCAA Western Conference Bowler of the Week.
