KVCC's Liedel Nabs Third and Final 2024 MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week Award

Kalamazoo Valley Community College freshman guard Joe Liedel (Mason, Mich.) is the MCCAA Western Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week17 after also earning the recognition during weeks 1 and 6. This marks the final weekly award for the 2023-24 season.

Liedel averaged 28.5 points and five rebounds over two games, while making 21 of 47 of his field goal attempts for a .447 percentage. He also canned 50 percent of his three-point tries, or 13-for-26. He also recorded five assists and five steals to close the regular season.
