Mid Michigan College freshman guard/forward James Wright makes his MCCAA Northern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week14 career debut. This marks the sixth time this season that a Laker has earned this weekly award.

The Redford, Mich., product averaged 22.5 points on a .690 field goal shooting percentage in two games. Wright averaged 10.0 rebounds to complete a double-double, while collecting four assists and three steals.
