Macomb's Hines Named MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week15

Macomb Community College freshman guard Josh Hines (Macomb, Mich.) makes his MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week season debut. A Macomb student-athlete has won this weekly award six times in 2023-24, including current back-to-back weeks.

Hines helped the Monarchs to a 2-0 week by averaging 18.0 points on 61.9 percent (13-21 FGs) from the floor, including 7-of-10 from the three-point arc. He hit the game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer and scored nine points in overtime as Macomb defeated 85-81 at No. 13-ranked St. Clair County Community College.
