Record setting performance earns Macomb's Humes MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Macomb Community College freshman guard Tariq Humes (Farmington, MI/Elevation Prep) has been selected as the MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Humes set three school records on Wednesday night when he scored 55 points, made 20 field goals and 10 three pointers in the win over Alpena Community College. For the week, Humes had 72 points, ten assists, eight rebounds and three steals as the 16th ranked Monarchs went 2-0 on the week. Also nominated for the honor was JD Rawls of Mott Community College.
