Kempainen of Schoolcraft tabbed as MCCAA Eastern Conference Baseball Player of the Week

Schoolcraft College sophomore outfielder Landon Kempainen (Howell, MI/Howell) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Kempainen batted .600 with a double, a triple, eight runs, six walks, two stolen bases and nine RBI in five games. Mott Community College's Justin Starkey was also nominated for the honor.
