Kellogg's Potts tabbed as MCCAA Western Conference Pitcher of the Week

Kellogg Community College freshman pitcher Ashton Potts (Sterling Heights, MI/Stevenson) has been selected as the MCCAA Western Conference Pitcher of the Week. Potts tossed 8.1 innings of shutout ball scattering eight hits as striking out 13 batters to earn the win. Potts helped the Bruins sweep Mid Michigan College in the first round of the NJCAA Region XII Baseball Championship. Also nominated were Jared Berkenpas of Grand Rapids and Jarrett Inscho of Mid Michigan College.
