Jackson's Stirnemann selected as MCCAA Eastern Conference Baseball Player of the Week
Jackson College freshman infielder/outfielder Joel Stirnemann (Lake Orion, MI/Lake Orion) has been named MCCAA Eastern Conference Baseball Player of the Week. Stirnemann batted .667 (8 of 12) with a double, two home runs, eight RBI, seven runs scored, two walks and one stolen base in four games. Also nominated were Jake Zeeb of St. Clair County Community College, Alex Czyzewski of Delta College, Jacob Kuhlman of Henry Ford College and Hunter Lay of Lansing CC.
