Lansing CC women's cross country claims eighth straight MCCAA Championship

For the eighth straight year, the Lansing Community College women's cross country team has won the Michigan Commmunity College Athletic Association Women's Cross Country Title. The Stars finished with 37 points, 11 points ahead of second place Muskegon CC. It was the Stars 28th MCCAA Women's Cross Title. The Stars were paced by Claudia Baryo who won the MCCAA Individual Title with a time of 19:18.6, eleven second ahead of Grace Sweet of Muskegon CC. Renae Osboure of Jackson College, Anne Lyon of Lansing CC and Reagan Lockhart of Muskegon CC rounded out the top five. Those five and Kiah Becker of Grand Rapids CC, Caitlyn Rodgers, St. Clair County CC, Deziree Shaw of Lansing CC and Izabella Gowen of St. Clair County CC all earned All-MCCAA honors. Grand Rapids CC finished third in the race, while Muskegon CC finished fourth.
