Lansing women's cross country ranked 15th in first USTFCCCA/NJCAA Division I Poll

The Lansing Community College women's cross country team is ranked 15th in the first United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association/NJCAA Division I poll of the season. The Stars finished 16th at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational last week. There only other meet was the non-scoring Comet Open, hosted by Olivet College in late August. They will run at the Firebird Invitational this afternoon at Hanson Hills Recreation Area in Grayling. The meet is hosted by Kirtland Community College. 

Macomb Community College is ranked 20th in the poll. The Monarchs have competed in three events this year. They finished fourth at the Golden Grizzly Invitational, fifth in the Tommy Titan Invitational and 19th at the Spartan Invitational last weekend. They will compete at the Raider XC Invitational tomorrow at Prairie Wolf Park. 

Muskegon Community College is ranked 22nd in the poll this week. The Jayhawks finished fifth at the Jeff Drenth Invitational and 20th at the Spartan Invitational. They will next run at the Lansing CC Invitational at Grand Woods Park on October 6th.
