Grand Rapids volleyball moves up one spot for the second straight week
The Grand Rapids Community College volleyball team moved up one spot this week to number 15 in the latest NJCAA Division II women's volleyball poll. The Raiders, who were 16th last week, are 25-6 overall and 14-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They won the MCCAA Western Conference Champions, and will host Mott Community College on Saturday at 3:00 PM in the MCCAA Volleyball Championship Match. They were 2-0 last week defeating both Ancilla College and Jackson College. They return to the court tonight when they travel to Centreville, MI to face Glen Oaks Community College.
Lansing Community College debuts in the poll in the other schools receiving votes category. The Stars are 23-6 overall and 12-3 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They defeated Glen Oaks Community College and Ancilla College last week. They will host Muskegon Community College tonight in their final conference match. The winner of the match will finish second in the MCCAA Western Conference.
