Macomb CC women's basketball cracks the top five in this week's NJCAA Division II poll

The Macomb Community College women's basketball team moved up two spots this week to number five in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Monarchs are 21-0 overall and 8-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They were 2-0 last week defeating then #17 - Mott Community College and Alpena Community College. They are back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Port Huron to face rival Macomb Community College. 

Mott Community College drops one spot this week to number 18. The Bears are 18-3 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They lost to then number seven Macomb Community College before defeating Schoolcraft College and Delta College. They hit the hardwood on Wednesday when they will play Henry Ford College in Dearborn, MI. 

Mid Michigan College falls four spots this week to number 19 this week. The Lakers are 18-2 overall and 8-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They were 2-1 last week, beating Ancilla College and Lansing Community College before falling to Muskegon Community College on Saturday. Their next game is Wednesday when they will be on the road at Grand Rapids Community College. 

Muskegon Community College enters the top 20 at number 20 this week. The Jayhawks are 16-3 overall and 8-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They went 3-0 last week beating Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Glen Oaks Community College and then number 15 Mid Michigan College to run their winning streak to five. They are back on the court on Wednesday when they host Lansing Community College.
