Macomb women's basketball team moves up to number seven this week

The Macomb Community College women's basketball team slide up one spot this week in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. The Monarchs are 20-0 overall and 7-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after beating number 17 Mott Community College on Monday. They were 2-0 last week beating Oakland Community College and Wayne County Community College District. They will return to action tonight when they make the trek to Alpena to face Alpena Community College. 

Mid Michigan College dropped five spots this week to number 15 in the poll. The Lakers are 17-1 overall and 7-1 in the MCCAA Western Conference after beating Ancilla College on Monday. They were 2-1 last week, losing to Kellogg Community College beford beating Jackson College and Glen Oaks Community College. They will travel to play Lansing Community College today for their next game. 

Mott Community College moved up one spot this week to number 17 in the rankings. The Bears are 16-3 overall and 5-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference after falling to number seven Macomb CC on Monday. They went 2-0 last week beating Wayne County Community College District and Oakland Community College. They will hit the hardwood tonight when they host Schoolcraft College.
