Two Wayne County women's basketball players named to NJCAA WBCA All-Star Roster

De;Ja Henson and Sammiyah Hoskins of Wayne County Community College District have been named to the 50 person NJCAA Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Star roster for the 2019-2020 season. In normal years, the players would play in an All-Star event, however due to COVID-19 the event was canceled in April.

The Mid Michigan College women's basketball team defeated #19 - Muskegon Community College 71-58 on Saturday to win the NJCAA Division II Great Lakes District Women's Basketball Championship at Ford Fieldhouse. The Lakers used a 16-7 third quarter to put Muskegon away.
