Muskegon women's basketball moves up one spot in this week's Division II poll

The Muskegon Community College women's basketball moved up one spot to the number 11 in the NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll. They Jayhawks are 23-3 overall and tied for first in the MCCAA Western Conference with a record 15-2 record. They went 2-0 last week with wins over Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Glen Oaks Community College. On Monday they beat Mid Michigan College on Monday. They will return to action tonight when they are at #20 - Lake Michigan College for the MCCAA Western Conference Championship. 

Lake Michigan College enters the top 20 at number 20. The Red Hawks are 23-5 overall and are tied with Muskegon for first place in the MCCAA Western Conference with a 15-2 mark. They are 3-0 since the last poll, beating Grand Rapids CC, Lansing CC and Glen Oaks CC. They will hit the hardwood again tonight when they host number 11 - Muskegon Community College. Winner is the MCCAA Western Conference Champion. 

Mid Michigan College is in the other schools receiving votes again this week with a 22-4 overall record and a 13-4 conference mark. The Lakers went 2-1 since the last poll, they beat Kellogg CC and Kalamazoo Valley CC before falling to then number 12 Muskegon Community College. They return to action tonight when they go on the road to face Jackson College.
