Muskegon CC women's basketball jumps three spots in latest NJCAA Division II poll

The Muskegon Community College women's basketball team moved up three spots in this week's NJCAA Division II women's basketball poll to number 12. They Jayhawks entered the week at 20-3 overall and 12-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They went 2-0 last week defeating Kellogg Community College and Lansing Community College. They beat Kalamazoo Valley Community College last night to move to 21-3, 13-2. The Jayhakws next game at Glen Oaks Community College. 

Lake Michigan College enters the poll this week in the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Red Hawks entered the week at 20-5 overall and 12-2 in the MCCAA Western Conference after going 2-0 last week beating then number 19 Mid Michigan College and Jackson College. They ran their record to 21-5, 13-2 last night with a win over Grand Rapids Community College. They return to the hardwood on Saturday when they travel to face Lansing Community College. 

Mid Michigan College falls into the other schools receiving votes category this week. The Lakers enter the week 19-3 overall and 10-3 in the MCCAA Western conference after going 1-1 last week. They lost to Lake Michigan College before rebounding and beating Ancilla College. They have since run their record to 21-3 and 12-3 beating Grand Rapids Community College and Kellogg Community College this week. They will hit the court again when host Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Saturday.
