Oakland Community College softball Player Ivy Velazquez has earned NJCAA Division II Player of the week honors for the week of March 2nd. In 11 games last week, she batted .714 with 24 RBI and 16 runs.

The Lansing Community College women's softball team is ranked 20th in the latest NJCAA Division II softball poll. The Stars started the week with a record of 1-3, after splitting with then number three Jones (MS) College and then getting swept number 15 East Central Mississippi Community College.

The Lansing Community College softball team is ranked 18th for the second straight NJCAA Division II women's softball poll. The Stars were 17th in the pre-season and first poll, last week they slipped to 18th.

The Lansing Community College women's softball team is ranked 17th in the NJCAA Division II Pre-season poll. The Stars finished last season with a 39-17 overall record and won the MCCAA Western Conference with a 29-3 record.
