Kellogg CC Kyle Strong wins NJCAA Region XII Division III Individual Championship

Sophomore Kyle Strong of Kellogg Community College won the NJCAA Region XII Division III Men's Cross Country Individual Title for the second straight year. Strong completed the five mile course in 27:30.6 to beat Lorain County Community College's Charlie Yonts by a minute and seven seconds. Strong earned Division III All-American honors last year, also earned All-Region honors with the win. Bruins Hunter Jewell was seventh with a time of 31:47.5, while Mario Sanchez Luna finished 12th with a time of 34:41.7. Lorain County Community College won the team event 27-29 over Columbus State Community College. Kellogg only had three runners so they did not post a team score.
