First round of the MCCAA Golf Championship under way at Arbor Hills GC
The first round of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship Tournament teed off this morning at 9 AM at Arbor Hills Golf Course in Jackson, MI. 45 golfers his the links this morning as they are competing for both the team and individual titles. The players will 36 holes today and 18 tomorrow for the championship. They are also golfing to qualify for the NJCAA Regional Tournament next Monday and Tuesday at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek. The top five teams in Division II plus the next six individual and ties will move on. The top Division III team will also move on, along with the top two golfers from the second place team and ties.
