Schoolcraft College men's basketball moves up to number three in latest Division II poll

The Schoolcraft College men's basketball team is up one more spot in the NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll. The Ocelots are 11-0 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. The Ocelots were 3-0 since the last poll beating Owens Community College, then number five Mott Community College and Macomb Community College. They will return to action tomorrow night when they host number nine Delta College in Livonia, MI. 

Mott Community College slipped one spot to number six in the rankings. The Bears are 13-1 overall and 1-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They were 2-1 since the last ranking in Mid-December, beating Owens Community College and Wayne County Community College District but falling to then number four Schoolcraft College. They are back on the hardwood on Wedensday night when they host Henry Ford College. 

Delta College dropped three spots to number nine in this week's poll. The Pioneers are 9-1 overall and 0-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. There only game since the last poll was a loss to Macomb Community College. They hit the court on Wednesday's when the play number three Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI. 

St. Clair County Community College is ranked 13th for the second straight poll. The Skippers are 14-1 overall and 1-0 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They have gone 3-0 since the last poll, beating Lansing Community College, Lambton (ONT) College and Alpena Community College. They will host Oakland Community College tomorrow night for their next contest. 

Maomb Community College enters the other schools receiving votes category again this week. The Monarchs are 10-4 overall and 1-1 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They went 3-3 since the December 18th poll. The beat St. Clair (ONT) College, Select Prep of California and then number six Delta College. They fell to Division I number 20 - New Mexico Junior College, #12 - Pima (AZ) Community College and then number four Schoolcraft College. They will host Wayne County Community College on Wednesday for their next game.
