MCCAA women's cross country title on the line tomorrow in Lansing

The MCCAA women's cross country title is up for grabs tomorrow at Grand Woods Park in Lansing, MI and for the first time in eight year there will be a new champion crowned. Defending champion, Lansing Community College opted out of fall sports due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The top contenders for the title are Grand Rapids Community College and St. Clair County Community College. The third ranked Raiders have won all three MCCAA meets this season plus they were the top MCCAA team at the Jayhawk Invitational. The fourth ranked Skippers have finished second in two of the three MCCAA meets and also were the second MCCAA team in the Jayhawk Invitational. Also in the mix for the title is Jackson College. The Jets are ranked ninth in NJCAA Division II. The Jets finished second in on MCCAA race and third in the other two. 

On the individual side, Kiah Becker of Grand Rapids won all three MCCAA races and was the second MCCAA runner to finish at the Jayhawk Invitational. Also in the mix are Audrey Meyering (Grand Rapids), Rachel Dusset (St. Clair), Olivia Hubbard (Jackson), Lily Connelly (St. Clair), Caitlyn Rogers (St. Clair), Macy Whipple (Muskegon) and Jessica Adams (Mott). The top nine finishers will be All-MCCAA.
