Final MCCAA regular season meet set for Friday in Grayling
The final MCCAA regular season MCCAA women's cross country meet is set for Friday in Grayling, MI. The Firebird Invitational is the last of three regular season meets all MCCAA teams are required to attend. All 11 MCCAA teams will run at the Firebird Invitational tomorrow, which will not be allowing fans to attend due to COVID-19 restrictions.
On the individual side, Grand Rapids CC's Kiah Becker will be looking to make it a clean sweep of the MCCAA meets. Becker has won both the Skippers Invite and the Jackson College Jets Classic, so far this season. Also in the mix for the top five are Audrey Meyering (Grand Rapids), Emma Berning (Kellogg), Oliviia Hubbard (Jackson), Harmony Harpster (Jackson), Caitlyn Rogers (St. Clair), Macy Whipple (Muskegon) and Jessica Adams (Mott).
On the team side, Grand Rapids has won the first two meets this year and will be looking to sweep the three race schedule. Also in the mix are Jackson College and St. Clair County Community College.
The next meet for all the MCCAA teams is the MCCAA/NJCAA Region XII meet on October 31, 2020.
