Grand Rapids ranked tenth in first regular season Division II volleyball poll

The Grand Rapids Community College women's volleyball team is ranked tenth in the first NJCAA Division II regular season volleyball poll. The Raiders, who were ninth in the pre-season poll, are 7-3 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. They went 4-1 last week, with their only loss coming to then number two Parkland (IL) College. They return to the court on Thursday when they travel to face Kalamazoo Valley Community College. 

Glen Oaks Community College debuts in the top 20 at number 15, after starting the season 10-0 overall and 2-0 in the MCCAA Western Conference. The Vikings have defeated Division II #12 - Lincoln Land (IL) Community College and gave Division III number one ranked Owens Community College their only loss. They have lost a total of six sets this year. They will return to action tomorrow night when they host Jackson College.
