MCCAA Announces 2023 Women's Soccer Awards

LANSING, Mich.--The Michigan Community College Athletic Association Friday announced the All-MCCAA women's soccer teams, and Delta College's Damon Amey has been named the 2023 MCCAA Coach of the Year.

Amey led the Pioneers, who are ranked No. 1 in the final regular season national poll in NJCAA Division III, to an unbeaten, untied 21-0 campaign. Delta captured the MCCAA title with a 16-0 Association mark, outscoring opponents 92 to 4 in conference games. Delta also won the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament and heads into the Division III Tournament as the national leader in goals for (124), fewest goals allowed (4), assists (120), goal differential (+120), shots (575) and shutouts (17).
