Macomb CC leads wire to wire to clinch NJCAA Great Lakes East Women's Basketball District Championship Game Berth

The third ranked and undefeated Macomb Community College women's basketball team cruised to a 108-50 win over Delta College tonight to advance to the NJCAA Great Lakes East Women's Basketball District Championship Game on Saturday. The Monarchs lead 44-25 at the half.
The Monarchs were led by Sami Klink, who had 16 points and three assists, while Alicia Norman added 14 points, three assists and five steals. Demi Rodriguez chipped in 13 points and five rebounds, while Lauren Wynn had nine points and five steals.
Delta College was paced by Kennedi Maurer who had 12 points and nine assists. Katelyn Englehardt added eight points, nine rebounds and five assists, while Jenni Grinwis chipped in six points and nine rebounds. The Pioners season comes to a close with at 11-14 record.
Macomb CC, who moves to 31-0, advances to play Mott Community College in the NJCAA Great Lakes East Women's Basketball District Champions on Saturday at 2 PM at Ford Fieldhouse in Grand Rapids, MI.
