Muskegon women's basketball in other schools receiving votes category in Division II Pre-Season Poll

The Muskegon Community College women's basketball team is in the others school receiving votes category in the pre-season NJCAA Division II Women's basketball poll. The Jayhawks, who were MCCAA Champions last season, finished the season with a 22-7 overall mark and a 14-2 conference record. They shared the MCCAA Western Conference title with Mid-Michigan College and beat Macomb Community College in the MCCAA Championship game. They lost in the semi-finals of the NJCAA District G Tournament to Lake Michigan College. The Jayhawks are under new leadership this year as Amanda Parker has moved on to Dominican University. Former Lake Michigan College coach Jason Cooper is the new coach at Muskegon CC this season.
