LCC's Morse Tapped MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week6
Sophomore Jenna Morse of Lansing Community College is the MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week6 for the third time this season, as the Stars have earned this award four times overall this spring.
A catcher and infielder out of Bay City, Mich., Morse went batted .444 on 8-for-18 at the plate. She accounted for 16 runs, including eight driven in. She drew three walks as part of a .545 on-base percentage and hit a pair of doubles on the way to slugging .556. She also was perfect in the field on 16 total chances.
