Koning of Kalamazoo Valley selected as MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week

Kalamazoo Valley Community College sophomore corner infielder Jayme Koning (Kalamazoo, MI/Christian) has been tabbed as MCCAA Western Conference Softball Player of the Week. Koning hit .609 (14 of 23) with four doubles, three home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs. Addison Hudson of Jackson College and Kenndi Dykstra of Muskegon Community College were also nominated.
