Grand Rapids wins tenth MCCAA Golf Championship, Hestwood is individual medalist

The Grand Rapids Community College golf team battled cold winds, rain and wet course conditions to claim their tenth MCCAA Golf Championship at Arbor Hills Golf Club in Jackson, MI on Tuesday. The Raiders, who were down one stroke entering Tuesday's play, shot a tournament low 302 to beat Oakland Community College by nine strokes.

The first round of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Men's Golf Championship Tournament teed off this morning at 9 AM at Arbor Hills Golf Course in Jackson, MI. 45 golfers his the links this morning as they are competing for both the team and individual titles.
