Mott's Ellison Collects Fourth MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week Citation

Mott Community College sophomore guard Mehki Ellison has been named the MCCAA Eastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time in 2023-24. He also earned the weekly award on Dec. 20, Nov. 30 and Nov. 15.

The Flint resident poured in a 35.0 scoring average over two games, connecting on 22 of 23 free throw attempts. Ellison also contributed 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. For good measure, he tallied 47 points against a very athletic Henry Ford College squad to cap his week.
