Schoolcraft College remains second in NJCAA Division II poll

The Schoolcraft College men's basketball team is ranked second in the NJCAA Division II men's basketball poll for the second straight week. The Ocelots entered the week with a 20-1 overall record and lead the MCCAA Eastern Conference with a 11-1 mark. They 1-0 last week, beating Wayne County Community College District in their only game. They will return to the hardwood on Saturday when the host number 12 - St. Clair County Community College. 

St. Clair County Community College moved up two spots this week to number 12. The Skippers entered the week with a 22-4 overall mark and a 9-3 MCCAA Eastern Conference record. St. Clair went 2-0 last week beating then #11 - Mott Community College and Macomb Community College. They will return court on Saturday when they face number two Schoolcraft College in Livonia, MI. 

Mott Community College dropped four spots to number 15 in the rankings. The Bears entered the week 21-3 overall and 9-3 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference. They were 2-1 last week beating Wayne County Community College District and Alpena Community College but lost to then #14 - St. Clair County County Community College. They are off until Monday when they host Macomb Community College in their penultimate conference game. 

Henry Ford College remains in the other schools receiving votes category this week. They were 18-8 overall and 10-3 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference entering this week. They defeated Macomb Community College and Delta College last week. They will return to action on Saturday when they play at Wayne County Community College District.
