Delta College Men's Basketball team jumped out to a 47-31 halftime lead and never looked back as they defeated the Lakers of Mid Michigan Community College at Morey Courts in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on Saturday. The Pioneers were led by Goliath Mitchell's 26 points followed by Trey Newsham with 21. Peyton Miller went 6 for 6 from the floor and finished the afternoon with 15 points. Jackarus Smith also contributed 15 points and 13 rebounds for his second consecutive double/double. The Pioneers are off until after Thanksgiving when they will travel to Midland to play Northwood JVs on the 28th of November.
