Bay's Gibson Named MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Player of the Week2
Zach Gibson, a freshman outfielder for Bay College via Nassau, Bahamas, has made his MCCAA Northern Conference Baseball Player of the Week2.
Gibson created chaos on the defense with a .692 on-base percentage. A majority of his seven hits, which included three doubles, occurred on two-strike counts to finish with a .636 batting average over four contests. He also produced a .909 slugging percentage, four runs batted in and scored four runs himself.
