MCCAA Announces 2024 Baseball Awards
LANSING--The Michigan Community College Athletic Association announces the 2024 MCCAA baseball awards with Grand Rapids Community College leading the way with a sweep of Northern Conference major awards: Mike Eddington (Coach of the Year), Dylan Nguyen (Player of the Year) and Tyler Sandwick (Freshman of the Year).
Eric Laskovy of Kellogg Community College is the MCCAA Coach of the Year by virture of taking the Bruins deeper into the Region XII Tournament, where Kellogg captured the event with a perfect 5-0 record. Laskovy guided the team to a 44-12 overall record, a Western Conference title with a 22-3 mark and a second round appearance at the 2024 NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series.
